Bernard "Bernie" Allen Bishop passed away November 8, 2020. Bernie is survived by his wife of 61 years Betty; sister, Beverly (Pat); six children, LeRoy (Wendy), Cindi (Terry-deceased), Richard (Diane), Russell, Susan (Jim), and Gina (James); ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and special extended family, Dee and Sherrie.
Charles Kins, 71 passed away on April 13, 2020 at the Montana Veterans Home in Columbia Falls.  He is survived by his sister Ethel White. Services will be held at a later date. Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls is caring for the family.   https://www.columbiamortuary.

James F. Conlan, 74 September 1, 1945 - April 2, 2020 On April 2, 2020, James F. Conlan passed away peacefully at the age of 74. He came into this world September 1, 1945 to Owen and Jenny Conlan. He was the youngest of 4 children. He attended St. Pats grade school and graduated from Butte High School in 1963.

He was born on November 16, 1948, to Harold Juvik and Marilyn Volk. Spending most of his youth in Great Falls, he graduated from Rudyard High School in 1967.
Clement “Clem” R. Clemencig, 97, of Great Falls, passed away on August 23, 2019. No services are planned. Clem was born on December 6, 1921, to Egidio and Josephine Clemencig in Sand Coulee, Montana. Clem graduated from high school and joined the U.S. Army on July 15, 1944, in Butte, MT. He was in the Army during World War II. He was honorably discharged on June 21, 1946.
Albert G. Franzen, 88, of Glasgow, Mont., passed away Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019, at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital, in Glasgow. Family will receive friends 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 18, at Bell Mortuary in Glasgow. A mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m., Monday, Aug. 19, at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church, burial with Military Honors will be in Highland Cemetery.
June 3, 1942-May 29, 2019 James Thomas Barry, beloved son, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather, and cousin passed away surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer on May 29, 2019. Jim was born in Butte, Montana to Orial and John Barry on June 3, 1942 as the youngest of three siblings.
Mr. Michael Joseph Weber Jr. passed away Tuesday morning in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Polson. Mike was born in Butte May 15, 1936 to Michael J. and Margaret “Doll” (Harrington) Weber. He attended St. Ann’s Grade School and graduated from Boy’s Central.
Ed Cummings of Butte, America passed away at the age of 66 on Monday morning at Community Medical Center in Missoula, Montana due to complications from interstitial lung disease. He was surrounded by many loved ones. Ed was born to John and Mary (McGee) Cummings on March 20, 1952. Ed, with great pride, was a Muckerville kid. He grew up, worked, and played on the hill.
Tom Davies, 68, a lifelong resident of Walkerville, passed away December 27, 2017 after a hard-fought battle with a sudden illness. Tom was born on July 6, 1949 to Helen (Hoar) and Emerson Davies in Butte, Montana. Tom attended Sherman grade school and Butte High School.
Timothy ‘Tim’ Galle, 69  July 16, 1948-Oct. 3, 2017 Tim Galle Sr. passed away at his home in Anaconda, Montana at the age of 69 on Oct. 3, 2017. He was born July 16, 1948 to Cliff and Loretta Galle. He married Sherrie (Barker) Galle Sept. 2, 1967, and had three children, Lisa (Brian) Brown, Tim Jr., and Jennifer (Tony) Carpita.
Mark "Sparky" D. Maeder GREAT FALLS — Mark "Sparky" D. Maeder, 62, of Great Falls, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017. Norm was a hardworking and loving husband, father, "pops", brother, uncle, son, co-worker and friend. You would always find Norm with his big black hat, a story ready to tell and a helping hand. Dean Thomas Marquardt  Dean Thomas Marquardt, 63, passed away July 15, 2017 surrounded by family and friends. Dean was born June 11, 1954 in St. Ignatius, Montana to Royal and Ruth Marquardt. He was the youngest of five siblings. He graduated from Charlo High School in 1972 before accepting a scholarship to Dillon for football.
John J. Doris, age 99 of Jackson Twp., passed away peacefully Saturday, March 11, 2017 at The Village at Greenbriar, Dallas. Mr. Doris was born in Nanticoke on December 27, 1917 and was the son of the late James and Agnes Lynch Doris. John and his late wife, the former Lucy Bonko, resided in Baltimore, MD prior to moving to Jackson Twp.

Our Beloved Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Great-Great-Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Cousin, John Joseph Jurcich, Jr., passed away peacefully on the evening of Oct. 28, 2016, at the age of 88. John was born Nov. 26, 1927, in Bribir, Yugoslavia, to John (Shuster) and Milka (Ivankovich) Jurcich. At 18 months old he traveled with his parents to the United States.
Frank Bestwina Great Falls —Frank Bestwina, 96, of Great Falls, died peacefully of natural causes on February 1, 2017. He was born September 9, 1920 in Belt, Montana. He met his soulmate Maxine his senior year of high school, graduated, moved to Great Falls and began working for the Anaconda Company, got married, and enlisted in the army in 1942.

Douglas Scott Duncan, 57 Douglas Scott Duncan, 57, of Butte died on Sunday, December 25 2016. Doug was born on March 10, 1959 in Butte to Don and Marg Duncan. He was the youngest of eight children. Doug attended McKinley Elementary School, West Junior High School, and graduated from Butte High School in 1977. Doug married his high school sweetheart, Nancy Royse, on June 07, 1980.
Orville ‘Big O’ Burger Orville Burger (March 30, 1939 - Sept. 28, 2016) Orville “Big O” Burger of Powell, loved by many, died Sept. 28, 2016, at the age of 77 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Billings. Born on March 30, 1939, in Powell, he spent his childhood in Powell, and after graduation from Powell High School, entered the U.S.
A loving husband, fantastic father and loyal friend passed away on August 25, 2016 at his home while doing one of many things he love to do; planning a 2-month four wheeling adventure. He was a true patriot to his country, an extremely hard worker and irreplaceable friend to all who had the honor of knowing him. He will be sorely missed.

Lloyd Tessman 1923 - 2016 Lloyd Tessman Great Falls - Lloyd L. Tessman, 92, of Great Falls, passed away on April 28, 2016 at Great Falls Clinic. Per Lloyd's wishes, he will be entombed next to his wife Gladys, at Hillcrest Mausoleum. He is survived by his son, Donald Tessman of Great Falls.
1930 - 2016 Daniel "Neal" Thompson Missoula - Daniel O'Neal Thompson, 85 of Great Falls, passed away July 26 at 2am in his home in Lolo, Montana in the presence of his entire family. Son of Fred O'Neal Thompson and Ann Ferda Workman of Highwood Creek. Daniel worked as an electrician for Boeing for thirty years.
James J. Zenahlik, 78, passed into the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ on Feb. 1, 2016, while surrounded by his loving family. James was born on March 19, 1937, in Portland, Maine to James Joseph Sr. and Juanita Zenahlik. Upon graduation from Deering High School he served in the Marines followed by enlisting and serving in the Navy.

Jay Merlin Patton GREAT FALLS —Jay Merlin Patton passed away December 17 at Peace Hospice after a short illness. Jay was born July 14, 1936 in Great Falls. He graduated from Great Falls High School. He was a saddle maker and later became a journeyman electrician and worked for the ACM until it closed. He retired from Enterprise Electric.
Leonard "Skip" Bobbett (November 1918 – 5/5/2015) Great Falls - Skip Bobbett passed away May 5, 2015 at the age of 96. He was born in Great Falls, in November 1918, to Andrew and Martha Bobbett. He lived his life on the west side of Great Falls and had many adventures to tell about from growing up in early Great Falls.

Evert was born and raised in Anaconda, MT, on September 6, 1939. In 1960, he married his high school sweetheart, Phyllis Ann Ehni. They were married for over 55 years and were each other’s best friend.
Charles H. Eickmeyer went to be with the Lord on July 12, 2015, after an extended illness. He was a career man with the Navy. His military years started early on with National Guard and soon extended into Navy life. The most outstanding time frame was when he was accepted for Nuclear Training Schools. He had a growing family and so we were brought to Montana and lived with his parents.
LeRoy John “Mike” Michalson, 93, of Helena passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015, in Helena. LeRoy was born in Velva, North Dakota, on Nov. 28, 1921, to John and Lillian (Norberg) Michalson. He received his education in northeastern Montana. He enlisted into the United States Army Sep. 10, 1938. He entered on Sept.

Bill Foley, 89 William Joseph “Bill” Foley, 89, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015, at the Butte Care and Rehabilitation Center. Bill was born in Butte on June 6, 1925, the son of George “Mick” and Julia (Powers) Foley. He attended St. Patrick’s Elementary School and Boys Central High School before serving in the Navy from 1943-47.
William 'OZ' John Osborne Jr., 75 Mr. William “OZ” John Osborne Jr., 75, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015, after a brief illness, with his loving family by his side. Bill was the first-born child to John and Betty (Hawkins) Osborne on May 29, 1939, in Butte. He would be joined by his two sisters, Karen and Jonnibeth and a baby brother, Steve.
Edward William L. Ledford ~ Boiling Spring Lakes Edward William L. Ledford went home to be with his Lord and Master, Jesus Christ, on August 20, 2014. He was a faithful servant of God who was concerned for the souls of others. Born in Waynesville, North Carolina on January 9, 1926, he was the son of the late Delmar E. and Blonnie Ledford.
Carl John Ryan  (Age 96)  Carl passed away on August 19, at Hospice House in Spokane. Born to Steve and Helen Ryan on July 9, 1918 in Butte, MT, he was raised and spent most of his life in Butte, before moving to Liberty Lake, WA with his wife, Mary, in 2001. Carl graduated from Butte High School and served five years in the Army during World War II.
Clark Carriger 2/11/1935-7/16/2014 Clark Carriger, 79, passed away at St. James Hospital in the afternoon of July 16, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. Clark was born February 11, 1935, to Fredrick Jackson Carriger and Helena Katherine Sennett. He attended Butte schools and graduated from Butte High School in 1953. He married Marlene Bertrand on March 23, 1958.
      Donald Scott Love Jr., 74, returned to his Heavenly Father and eternal family on April 10, 2014 in Ogden, Utah. Don passed away peacefully with family surrounding him following heart surgery. Don was born August 23, 1939, in Philadelphia, Penn., of goodly parents Donald and Harriett (Sowers) Love. He was the oldest of four boys. Don attended schools in Philadelphia.
Larry G. Zbinden Great Falls — Larry Gene Zbinden, 65, a retired electrician and United States Navy veteran, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Peace Hospice from cancer. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 10:30 am at First Congregational UCC. O'Connor Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Glenn Landon, 90 Glenn Annisfor Landon, 90, died Monday morning, Jan. 27, 2014, at Copper Ridge Health and Rehab Center after living a long, full life, surrounded by loving family. He was born in Manitoba, Mich., on Jan. 30, 1923, to Royal and Margret Landon. On May 15, 1946, he married the love of his life, Dorothy Pacheco Landon in Butte.
Gene Sage, 74 On Oct. 28, 1938, Gene Clifford Sage was joyfully welcomed by Ada Pearl (Costner) and Gene Elmer Sage as the first of their children in Fresno, Calif. After a determined battle with cancer, Gene lost the fight on Oct. 20, 2013.
Daniel Hastings, 66 STEVENSVILLE – Daniel “Dan” E. Hastings died suddenly and unexpectedly of natural causes at his home on Aug. 15, 2013, three days short of his 67th birthday. He was born Aug. 18, 1946, the eldest of nine in Butte America, to Ed and Ann (O’Gara) Hastings. He attended St.
Lynn Allen passed away in St. James Healthcare on July 22, 2013, at the age of 83. Lynn was born to Mack and Tressa (Tidwell) Allen in Anaconda on April 30, 1930. Lynn attended school in Anaconda where he was active in boxing and football, but the sport that remained near and dear to his heart was baseball.
Gordon Marcotte, aged 90 years, passed away Monday June 2, 2013. Born in Missoula on December 17, 1922. Graduated from Anaconda High school in 1943, Served with the US Navy in World War II in the Pacific Theater. Gordon became a member of IBEW 200 (Anaconda) on March 5, 1946 then a member of IBEW 623 (Butte) with the merger in 1973. He was a 65 year member.
Fred W. Maeder, 85, of Great Falls, died of emphysema Friday, Nov. 30, at a local nursing home. At his request, no services are being held. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.  Fred was born on Oct. 23, 1927 to John and Naomia (Bullard) Maeder. He attended school at Hugesville and Denton.

Joseph Wayne Foster January 1, 1936 – October 2, 2012  Joseph Wayne Foster passed away on October 2, 2012 due to complications from a lengthy illness.  Joe was born on January 1, 1936 to Joseph Henry Foster and Stella Mae (Smith) Foster in Three Forks, Montana. This is where he was raised, attended school and graduated in 1955.
 Victor Lossing, a former Havre resident, died June 27, 2012, at Kingman Regional Medical Center Hospice in Kingman, Ariz. He was born Oct. 29, 1926, in Redstone, Mont. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving from 1944 to 1946. He was honorably discharged as an electrician's mate third class on May 18, 1946.
Edward M. Leland  BELT — Edward Martin “Marty” Leland, 58, of Belt, died of natural causes Wednesday, July 4, at Peace Hospice of Montana. A celebration of life is 1 p.m. Saturday, July 21, at 598 Armington Road in Belt. Cremation will take place under the direction of Croxford Funeral Home and Crematory.  Marty was born Oct.
