SB 376 - Right to Work Bill

The latest Right to Work (RTW) bill has been assigned to committee and the hearing is scheduled for Friday, February 28 @ 7:00 AM in Senate Room 422. Please contact committee members and be prepared to join us at the Capitol to testify against this bill. The RTW bill is being sponsored by Committee Chair, Senator Mark Noland.

John R. Edgar (1932 - 2015)



Great Falls Montana — John R. Edgar, 83, of Great Falls passed away November 28, 2015 in his home. Per his request there will be no services. John was born November 27, 1932 in Philipsburg MT and raised in Butte MT.

John was a proud member of the Butte High Football team during his high school years. He was a veteran serving in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was an electrician by trade and a lifelong member the IBEW. He also was the electrical inspector for the City of Great Falls until his retirement. He raised Labrador retrievers along with his wife, Joan, and spent many weekends at retriever trials.

John is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Joan (Holland) Edgar, his sons, Gerald (Vicki) Edgar of Bath, ME, John E (Susan) Edgar of Kansas City, MO, his daughter Sherri (Mike) Walstad of Chester, MT, grandchildren Brian R Gleason, Shannon Gleason, Amanda (Jason) Braun of Chesapeake, VA, Keely (John) Diekemper of Virginia Beach, VA, Shea (Ari) Edgar of New Castle, ME, Stacee (Dru) Lyders of Tucson, AZ and Patrick (Gaylen) Walstad of Billings, MT and many great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Roberta Gleason, his parents Emmett and Elizabeth Edgar and his sisters, Mary Dixon and Frances Marsenich.

Memorials may be made to Holy Spirit Catholic Columbarium Fund, 201 44th St South, Great Falls, MT 59405, St Vincent DePaul, St Ann's Kitchen or donor's choice.
