One of the most important rights we enjoy as citizens of Montana and the USA is the right to vote for the people who make and uphold our laws. This right is the foundation upon which our democratic form of government is based. Many people in the world do not share this right. It's a civic duty we should all feel privileged to perform.

GREAT FALLS — Mark "Sparky" D. Maeder, 62, of Great Falls, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017.

He is survived by his mother, K. JoAn Maeder; siblings Michael W. Maeder, Roslyn Marie "Lynn" Rolland, Niles W. Maeder, and Tina S. (Lorenz) Redfern; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins too numerous to mention by name.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Fred W. Maeder in November 2012.

May he rest in peace.
