SB 376 - Right to Work Bill

The latest Right to Work (RTW) bill has been assigned to committee and the hearing is scheduled for Friday, February 28 @ 7:00 AM in Senate Room 422. Please contact committee members and be prepared to join us at the Capitol to testify against this bill. The RTW bill is being sponsored by Committee Chair, Senator Mark Noland.

Archer Western Federal JV Lands $377M Army Contract for Weapon Storage Facility Construction

A Walsh Group business has secured a $376.9 million firm-fixed-price contract from the U.S. Anny to build a weapon storage and maintenance facility over a four-year period.

The Department of Defense said Friday Archer Western Federal Joint Venhire will perform construction efforts in Great Falls, Montana, through June 18, 2027.

The contactor was selected among seven bidders using an online solicitation process by Army Corps of Engineers, which is the contracting activity.

Archer Western Federal N was obligated the full contract amount from fiscal 2020 military construction, defense-wide funds at the time of the award.

Baker Electric from California signed with LU 233 and we are meeting them on October 17th with Chris McGowan of the JATC.

The project will need up to 40 electricians and is over 30 million in electrical construction. Stay tuned for more information!
